The Solarart cyanotype kit makes cyanotype printing easy. Each light resistant black bottle contains cyanotype solutions A&B. Mix in equal parts for coating solution.
Coat your paper or fabric with the cyanotype solution and allow to dry in a dark place. Once dry you can make prints by using objects or a negative placed on your paper and exposing them to sunlight or artificial UV for 3 – 30min to create an image. Check instructions for full guide to exposing.
After exposure simply wash the material/paper in a tray of tap water to reveal the print, allow the cyanotype to naturally dry where it will darken to a much deeper blue over the next 24 hours.
